Born in Waromung village and raised in Kohima, the author completed her schooling at Little Flower Higher Secondary School before pursuing higher education at Kohima Science College. She went on to earn a Master’s degree in Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science from the School of Agricultural Sciences, Medziphema. With roots deeply connected to her homeland and an academic background in the sciences, she brings a thoughtful and grounded perspective to her work.
