Jungmayangla Longkumer is a teacher, writer and poet. She has authored three books including Change & Continuity in Tribal Villages; A Scociological study, Pottery; Earth Stories and Gift in the pot: Earth Poetry.Her short stories were earlier published in Of Voices and Paper and The Many That I am While Kongliang Otsu: An Ao Naga Folktale, was published in Indian Folklife, a Quaterly Newsletter from National Folklore Support Centre. Serveral of her poems and articles has also been published in various formats. Currently she is a professor in the Agriculture Extension Education School, School of Agricultural Sciences, Nagaland University, Medzephima Campus.
