At just 14 years old, Oindrila Chakraborty from Tripura continues to make remarkable strides in the literary world. An accomplished author, podcaster, book reviewer, and speaker, Oindrila has released her third book, Ink & Infinity – An Anthology, published by the international publishing house Ukiyoto.
The anthology showcases Oindrila's versatility as a young writer, bringing together an engaging collection of short stories, poetry, and literary essays. A Literary Journey That Began at Eleven
Oindrila's journey as an author began at the age of 11 with the publication of her debut novella, The Adventures of the Legendary Queen. Two years later, she followed it up with her second book, Shadows of Rosalia, further establishing herself as one of the region's promising young voices.

She was selected as a semifinalist in the Top Young Innovators of the UAE, where two of her four business ideas were shortlisted by an esteemed panel of experts representing organisations such as NASA, the World Health Organization (WHO), Brookhaven National Laboratory, and the U.S. Air Force. These innovations are also being considered for potential U.S. patents.
Earlier this year, Oindrila served as the host of the Young Authors Programme at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature 2026 in Dubai. During the event, she presented her published works and also took on the role of Master of Ceremonies, demonstrating her confidence as both a speaker and literary ambassador.
A Passion for Reading, Learning and Community
Apart from writing, Oindrila is deeply involved in promoting reading and education. Through her podcast platform, she shares book reviews, educational content, and literary discussions, inspiring young readers across different communities.
She has collaborated with libraries, schools, and literary organisations to conduct book clubs and has participated in book talks in various parts of the world. Her commitment to sustainability and student leadership has also seen her serve as a Sustainability and Well-being Ambassador for her school, representing it at several national and international events.
