Anengu, the leopard cat, has nowhere to go - his home has been burnt to ashes and all his food with it. Hungry and weak, he asks Achighe, the otter, to help him steal some delicious chickens and eggs from a human village close by. Will this mission save the starving cat?
This story is adopted from the Sumi folktales documented by the British ethnographer J.H. Hutton in his book The Sema Nagas ( Macmillan and co., limited 1921)
