Calling all authors from Northeast India 📣
We've built an Author Program on NortheastReads — and we want you on it.
NortheastReads (northeastreads.com) is a community portal dedicated entirely to books and authors from India's Eight Sister States. We currently have 200+ books and 90+ authors in our library, and a growing community of readers who specifically seek out Northeast literature.
What the Author Program gives you:
🔖 Your own verified Author Page
A dedicated page at northeastreads.com/authors/your-name with your bio, photo, NE state, website and social links. A ✓ Verified badge signals to readers it's the real you.
📚 Control your catalog
If any of your books are missing from our library, you can submit them directly from your author page. We review and publish — it goes live with your name, cover, publisher details and all.
✍️ A platform to write
Editors and authors can publish articles, interviews and essays on our Blog — another way to reach readers who care about the Northeast.
🏡 A community that gets it
Readers on NortheastReads aren't browsing a general catalog. They're here specifically for books from the Eight Sister States. Your work already belongs here.
Claiming your page takes 3 steps:
Register at northeastreads.com
Go to your Profile and enable Author Mode
Visit your author page and click "Claim this page"
We verify and approve within 24–48 hours.
If you know an author from the region who should be here, please share this with them or tag them below. Every author on the portal makes it richer for every reader.
