Laltluangliana Khiangte is a distinguished Mizo academic, playwright, and poet from Mizoram, known for his significant contributions to Mizo literature and scholarship. He has served as Principal of Serampore College and held academic positions at Pachhunga University College, North Eastern Hill University, and Mizoram University. A leading figure in preserving and promoting Mizo literary traditions, he has received the prestigious Pu Buanga Award from the Mizo Academy of Letters and was honored with the Padma Shri in 2006 for his contributions to Indian literature.
