Hoihnu Hauzel is a journalist and author from Manipur with over two decades of experience in long-form and feature writing. She has contributed to leading national and international publications including The Asian Age, The Indian Express, Hindustan Times, The Times of India, and The Telegraph. Hauzel holds a master’s degree in political science and international relations from the University of Delhi. She is the author of The Essential Northeast Cookbook and the founder of Northeast Odyssey and The NE Stories, platforms that amplify voices and promote the cultural heritage of Northeast India. A Reuters International News Writing Fellow, she has also worked on cultural initiatives in the region and launched a digital journal documenting pandemic-era resilience stories.
