For Manipur it translates into her own survival. The book is a collection of poems, philosophical expressions, and civilizational laws. It is a contribution to Manipuri reflection and civilizational renewal both hill and valley.
The Art of Rebellion draws upon the collective memories, oral traditions, spiritual beliefs, and historical experiences of the Manipuri people and other communities of the North-East region of India. It seeks to preserve, honor, and uplift the spiritual and cultural dignity of Manipur and humanity as a whole.
The book is structured as a series of titled poems and prose pieces that explore themes of governance, tragedy, identity, and hope. It contains allegories of corruption, guilt and inescapability of actions and consequences. The poetry articulates life of debt and serving power.
