Parishmita Baruah, an Indian poet, novelist, and editor, has garnered acclaim for her book, “Streamlined Soul.” Her literary journey began at the tender age of twelve, and since then, she has honed her craft while indulging in her passions: cooking, binge-watching series and films, and immersing herself in thrilling or magic realist books. When she embarks on her travels, her creativity flourishes, and she aims to transport her readers to an untamed realm of imagination and boundless possibilities, where even imprisoned light within darkness illuminates. One of her poignant works, “Coherence,” delves into the remnants of a past connection. In this evocative poem, she delicately intertwines imagery of promises, memories, and the inexorable bond between two souls. Parismita Singh is a writer, graphic novelist and educationist. Her graphic novel The Hotel at the End of the World was shortlisted for the Shakti Bhatt First Book Award (2009-10). She helped conceptualize the Pao Anthology of Comics. Her publications include graphic novels for children Mara and the Clay Cows, Crab Chronicles and Fat King Thin Dog. She has been working on a primary school education project in Assam with the NGO Pratham since 2009.

Phungreiso Varu is a versatile professional holding a Master's Degree in Social Sciences from TISS, Mumbai, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism. His expertise in communication, writing, and storytelling has been refined over the years. As an advocate for social development, he has dedicated himself to empowering marginalized communities and youth throughout India, especially in the Northeast. His impactful research and work have been presented internationally, including in South Africa and Thailand, aimed at sparking positive change. Notably, he was honoured with the Rajiv Gandhi Shiksha Mitra Award in 2009. With a career that spans roles at BBC-Media Action and as a Professor at Assam Don Bosco University in Northeast India, he has continually expanded his knowledge, completing programs at the esteemed Coady Institute in Canada and the University of Michigan in 2021, focusing on leadership development, inspiring and motivating individuals.

Pujith Gayon

Pujith Gayon (born in 1996), also known by his pen name GAYON, is an author, lawyer and a columnist from Guwahati, Assam. He has a B.A. LL.B from Symbiosis Law School and an LL.M (First Class) from Christ University. He has worked with NGOs (like Childline India Foundation and Aaranyak) and with top-tier law firms (like Economic Laws Practice, Bharucha & Partners, Fox Mandal and Majmudar & Partners). He has been involved in various research projects concentrated in North-East India and has worked with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) on conservation efforts. Pujith regularly contributes to various publications and magazines and his columns have found their place in reputed national and regional dailies. He was awarded a National Certificate of Recognition by the Government of India for his contributions to the SNEHALAYA Foundation. Pujith also holds a degree in Spanish Guitar from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London.
