L. Somi Roy is a cultural conservationist and curator who writes on film, culture and polo for publications in India and the United States. He promotes international polo and Manipuri pony preservation in India, and is a film curator who has organized exhibitions for the Asia Society, Museum of Modern Art, Film at Lincoln Center and Whitney Museum of American Art. He has also translated the original Manipuri works of his mother, the Manipuri writer Manipuri writer Maharaj Kumari Binodini Devi. M.K. His published translations of Binodini include her historical novel The Princess and the Political Agent, a Penguin Modern Classic published by Penguin Random House India; memoir essays The Maharaja’s Household: A Daughter’s Memories of Her Father; her play Crimson Rainclouds; and screenplay My Son, My Precious.

Linthoi Chanu is a writer from Manipur. Her area of interest and focus remains Manipuri folk lore, myths, and legends, a topic that she has written at length in various journals. Her debut book 'The Tales of Kanglei Throne' published in (2017) is known for reintroducing Manipuri mythology to the new generation. Her latest book 'Wari' is a collection of short stories. She is currently researching Ancient Manipuri scriptures and is also a spirited adventurer with a deep interest in documenting cultural experiences related to culinary arts, indigenous crafts, and ancient social practices.

Lum Shaiza, a native of Ukhrul Town in Manipur, is the author of the newly released poetry book titled "Things that grow on us." Lum, who holds an MBA degree from Spicer Adventist University in Pune, has ventured into the world of literature and community engagement. In 2021, she co-founded the Prologue Bookstore in collaboration with a close friend. Driven by a profound passion for literature, Lum took her commitment a step further, founding the Prologue Library in her hometown of Ukhrul in 2023, ensuring the love for books reaches even greater heights.
